SCHOOL RULES & CODE OF CONDUCT

(Pre-Primary to Class VIII)

General School Rules

  1. Students must reach school 5 minutes before the start time. Once the first bell rings, the gate will be closed and late entry will not be allowed.

  2. Students must be neatly dressed in the proper school uniform on all working days. Defaulters will be punished.

  3. Half-day or short leave is not permitted for any reason due to safety concerns. Parents should not send children to school if they are ill or needed at home.

  4. The school reserves the right to terminate the admission of students with unsatisfactory academic progress or poor conduct.

  5. Students must speak only in English within the school premises.

  6. All students must always maintain discipline and good manners.

  7. Parents should refrain from criticizing teachers or the school in front of children.

  8. Students must take proper care of school property. Any damage, even accidental, must be reported and paid for.

  9. Valuable items should not be brought to school.

  10. Students are responsible for their personal belongings. The school is not responsible for any loss.

  11. Students with contagious diseases must not attend school until fully recovered and with a doctor’s certificate.

  12. Two-wheelers and bicycles must be properly locked in the stand. The school is not responsible for items kept outside.

  13. Students should actively participate in all school activities.

  14. Every student must bring their school diary daily.

  15. Movement to assembly and classrooms should be done silently and in an orderly manner.

  16. Shouting, whistling, or running in corridors is prohibited.

  17. Students must carry tiffin, a napkin, and a handkerchief each day.

  18. Students are not permitted to leave during school hours.

  19. Students should attend all school festivals and functions.

  20. Visiting hours to meet the Principal are fixed from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm. Parents should use this time.

  21. Taking leave on working days is discouraged; parents must ensure children make up missed work.

  22. Celebrating birthdays or parties in classrooms is strictly prohibited.

  23. Students must not bring sharp objects like blades, scissors, or needles to school.

  24. Students will go home only by authorized school transport or with a written authorized escort.

  25. Parents must bring photo ID when visiting the school.

  26. For safety, money should not be sent with children without school-approved written notice.


Code of Conduct for Students

  1. Students must be attentive, punctual, obedient, humble, regular, and disciplined.

  2. Uniform must be clean, neat, and properly ironed, with an appropriate haircut.

  3. Usage of abusive language, slang, bullying, teasing, or fighting is strictly prohibited.

  4. Formation of large groups is discouraged and must be avoided.

  5. Littering and disorderly behavior is not allowed.

  6. Students must not use obscene language or disrupt classes.

  7. Students must contribute positively to the school atmosphere.

  8. Students should be respectful and courteous to peers and staff.

  9. Students must follow all discipline policies and school rules.

  10. Students should actively participate in school activities.

  11. Irregular attendance, academic dishonesty, poor homework habits, loitering, or disrespect may lead to disciplinary action.

  12. Communication within school must be in English at all times.

  13. It is compulsory to bring the school-issued ID card daily.

  14. Students must be punctual; latecomers without valid reasons will face consequences.

  15. No student should remain on campus after the last bell rings.

  16. Students should not bring money without prior written notice.

  17. Proper queueing and orderly movement is mandatory at all times.

  18. Leaving class or bunking is strictly prohibited and is a serious offense.

  19. Boys are not permitted to wear earrings; girls may wear small studs only. Nose rings, bangles, bracelets, tattoos, or henna are not permitted.

  20. Students must not play inside classrooms or use sports equipment except in the playground.

  21. Students with persistent misconduct may be suspended or expelled at the Principal’s discretion.

  22. Social functions must not be held without prior approval from the Principal.

  23. Participation in unauthorized activities may lead to disciplinary action.

  24. Students must complete all classwork, homework, and projects on time.

  25. Students must enter school premises only in proper uniform.

  26. Students who repeatedly disobey rules may face discontinuation.

  27. Students must not damage school property. Compensation will be required for any damage.

  28. Valuable items, mobiles, cameras, and electronics must not be brought to school.

  29. Vandalism of school buses or public places will be strictly dealt with.

  30. Students must never bring or use firecrackers or explosives; violation will lead to suspension or expulsion.
