ADMISSION PROCEDURE RULES (Pre-Primary to Class VIII)

I. General Conditions for Admission

A student seeking admission from Pre-Primary (Nursery/LKG/UKG) up to Class VIII will be eligible for admission only if he/she:

  1. Has been studying in a recognized school (for Class I onwards), or fulfills the eligibility criteria prescribed for first-time admission in Pre-Primary classes.

  2. Has passed the qualifying examination of the previous class (for Class I onwards), wherever applicable.

  3. Satisfies the age criteria (minimum and maximum age limits) as prescribed by the State/U.T. Government and applicable to the location of the school.

  4. Produces the following documents at the time of admission:

    • Birth Certificate issued by a Municipal Authority / Competent Authority.

    • School Leaving Certificate / Transfer Certificate (TC) for Class II onwards, duly signed by the Head of the Institution last attended.

    • Report Card / Progress Report of the previous class (for Class I onwards).

    • Any other document required by the school or education department from time to time.


II. Specific Requirements for Admission (Pre-Primary to Class VIII)

  1. Admissions from Pre-Primary up to Class VIII are governed strictly by the rules, regulations, and orders of the State / U.T. Government applicable to the area where the school is located.

  2. No Board (CBSE) registration is required for students up to Class VIII.

  3. Admission shall be granted on the basis of:

    • Availability of seats

    • Age eligibility

    • Verification of documents

    • Interaction / assessment (if conducted by the school)

  4. The school reserves the right to accept or reject an admission application if:

    • Documents are found incomplete or incorrect

    • Age criteria is not fulfilled

    • The previous school is not recognized by a competent authority


III. Admission from Other Boards / States

  1. Students seeking admission from:

    • State Boards

    • ICSE / ISC

    • Other recognized Boards

    may be admitted up to Class VIII, subject to:

    • Verification of authenticity of the Transfer Certificate

    • Counter-signature of the TC by the competent authority (DEO or equivalent), wherever required

  2. The school shall verify the genuineness of the previous school and its recognition status before confirming admission.


IV. Admission of Students from Outside India

  1. Students coming from schools located outside India may be admitted up to Class VIII, subject to:

    • Equivalence of the previous class/course of study

    • Submission of authenticated academic records

    • Passport / Visa / relevant documents (if required)

  2. Final decision regarding such admissions shall rest with the Head of the Institution.


V. Name and Date of Birth (As per School Records)

A. Name (Student / Father / Mother / Guardian)

  1. The name recorded in the Admission Form, Birth Certificate, and TC shall be treated as final.

  2. Only minor spelling or typographical corrections may be considered, provided:

    • They are consistent with original school records

    • Application is submitted by parents through the school

  3. No change in name shall be allowed by the school once records are finalized, except as permitted by competent authority / court order.


B. Date of Birth

  1. The Date of Birth once recorded at the time of admission shall be final.

  2. No change in Date of Birth shall be permitted by the school under normal circumstances.

  3. Only clerical/typographical corrections may be considered if supported by:

    • Original Birth Certificate

    • Admission Register entry

    • Previous school records


VI. Attendance

  1. Students must maintain minimum 75% attendance to be eligible for promotion to the next class.

  2. Attendance will be calculated for the entire academic session.

  3. Leave on medical or other genuine grounds must be supported by proper documents.


VII. Direct Admission (Up to Class VIII)

Direct admission up to Class VIII may be considered in genuine cases such as:

  • Transfer of parents

  • Shifting of family from another city/state

Required documents:

  1. Transfer Certificate (Original)

  2. Report Card of previous class

  3. Birth Certificate

  4. Residential Proof

  5. Admission Form duly filled by parents

  6. Two recent passport-size photographs

  7. Aadhaar Card (if available)


VIII. Enclosures Required for Admission (All Classes: Pre-Primary to VIII)

  1. Birth Certificate (Photocopy) – Mandatory

  2. Report Card / Marksheet (Photocopy) – Class I onwards

  3. Transfer Certificate (Original) – Class II onwards

  4. Two recent passport size photographs

  5. Aadhaar Card (Photocopy)


Important Notes

  1. Details provided in Birth Certificate / Transfer Certificate shall be considered final for all future school records.

  2. The school will not be responsible for any discrepancy arising due to incorrect information furnished by parents.

  3. Admission is provisional until all documents are verified and approved by the school authorities.

  4. The decision of the Principal / Head of Institution shall be final in all matters related to admission.
